For New Members
When you first sign up for Illuminate and go through the onboarding process to open a brokerage account, you'll be asked to link your bank account. During these initial setup steps, you'll need to:
Provide your bank's routing number
Enter your account number
Confirm the information is correct
Changing Your Linked Bank Account
If you need to update your primary bank account:
Navigate to the Profile tab in the bottom bar
Select Settings
Tap on Linked Banks
View your current primary bank account
Select Update Primary Bank Account
Enter your new bank's routing number and account number
Confirm your information
We will automatically verify new bank accounts. This process works most of the time, if it does not verify for any reason, we will ask you to check your bank account for micro deposits and enter the microdeposits by going to the profile tab, settings, linked banks and tapping on microdeposits in the top right. Then enter the micro deposits in the Verify Microdeposits screen.
